Master Paul Giffen has been studying the Korean art of Tang Soo Do for over 15 years
and is currently a 4th Dan Master in this art.

Since meeting Grand Master Eddie Jacobsen four years ago through Grand Master Mark
Adlington he was introduced to Haedong Kumdo which was an art that he had not heard
of before.

Master Giffen was put on an acceleration program to become a black belt instructor and
trained with Grand Master Adlington three times a week for a year and a half.
Once this training had been completed he then travelled to South Africa to train for
two weeks at a boot camp and attend seminars.

When he came back to the UK, Grand Master Jacobsen & Grand Master Kim took Master
Giffen for his grading which he passed and was awarded a 2nd Dan Instructorship.

Master Giffen then started his own Haedong Kumdo club and it has gone from strength to
strength. Master Giffen still travels around the world as much as he can taking part in
championships and seminars for Haedong Kumdo.
